Role

Early Intervention Teacher

General Information

My passion and joy is for tamariki with special needs and helping tamariki to be successful in their goals no matter how small.
I started working in the special education field as an Education Support Worker for the Ministry of Education in 2003. Following that I began working for the McKenzie Centre in 2005 until 2011. I took time away to complete my Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education, graduating in 2012 as Outstanding Student Bachelor of Teaching Early Childhood Education.
I returned to McKenzie Centre to take up the position of Early Intervention in 2013 and completed my Post Graduate Diploma of Specialist Teaching (Early Intervention) in 2016.
I look forward to meeting and working with you and your whānau. I, myself, have two children Melanie and Harrison and a husband Robert, and look forward to building long term relationships with you all.
