I was Business Manager at McKenzie Centre from August 2006 to February 2011, when I left my employment to study fulltime and finish my Law degree, which I had been working toward part-time. It was and is a privilege to be associated with McKenzie Centre, and I am pleased to be able to continue that association through Trusteeship. I now practice law with a specialty in disability law, assisting people with special needs and their families.
Aside from working a lawyer I am a busy mother with two sets of twins. Two of my children have autism, which is the reason I switched careers from the business world. I am originally from New York City, but I left there in 1988 to live in Denmark, and came to New Zealand with my family in 1995. The result of this is that the six people in my family have a total of 13 passports from three different countries! We love New Zealand and consider ourselves Kiwis now.
