Bugsy Malone - Lillian Martin

An enormous thank you to the extremely talented cast and crew of MusicMakers production, Bugsy Malone, which ran at Riverlea Theatre from 15 until 30 May 2015. McKenzie Centre was very fortunate to be chosen as the charity to benefit from a pre-opening fundraiser showing of this high-energy show, featuring an outstanding and gifted young cast.

Bugsy Malone is set during the 1920s prohibition era and in Fat Sam’s legendary Speakeasy. Featuring gangster characters the likes of Bugsy, Fat Sam, Blousey, Tallulah and Dandy Dan, this musical is full of fun, singing, dancing, rival gangs and Splatter guns. This was a show guaranteed to entertain the whole family. A slick, stylish and professional production, Bugsy Malone amazed us with the depth of singing talent on offer, as well as making us laugh and gasp as the action unfolded on stage.

Thank you again to MusicMakers for this great fundraising opportunity for McKenzie Centre, and to everyone who supported it on the night.
