McKenzie Centre came together as a community to celebrate Matariki on Thursday 16 June.
Matariki is a good time to remember that it’s a time to connect. Events included music, craft table, toy/clothes swap table, wish tree, photo booth and most importantly, kai.
About 50 people attended. It was lovely for the families who attend to meet families who attend on other days.
It was also nice to have families come in with siblings (of the children who attend) for them to see where their brother or sister go.
